The following are the release notes for POS 4.00.23
There is only two significant changes to the application
THE APPLICATION USES THE CURRENT VERSION OF JAVA
The application is supported using the current version of Java. Upon installation and set up the POS, the Java version is updated to the current release. The application no longer required a specific version of Java.
MIGRATION TO JAVA WEB START
When installing the application on the POS, the process has been simplified to also load the current version of the supporting applications (mysql, java, and JRE). This should provide all merchants with a consistent, easy installation. This should be used on an unit that has not previously been installed with mysql or java.
