POSX ION Edge Installation Process

Overview:

The ION Android provides a powerful, flexible, and energy-efficient point of sale solution. Featuring Google's intuitive Android 4.2 Jelly Bean O/S, a responsive 15.6" widescreen 5-wire resistive touch display, and integrated MSR and customer display options

Steps to install the POSX ION Edge:

Installing the POS X out of the box – consists of plug in the power (the stand and MSR are attached)
Attach the USB printer, Pole Display
Plug in the Cash Drawer into the USB Printer so your cash drawer to open on Cash Sales
Once you plug everything into the tablet, turn on tablet on.
Plug in Ethernet cable to get internet on tablet (No WiFi)
Enter a amazon account, as you will need this to access the amazon play store.
Once you have access to amazon store download the TabPOS application
Log into the TabPOS application and register the merchant account using the system admin credentials in the welcome letter. Once registered, log in using the Financial or Cashier log in
Enable the printer from the hardware configuration tab - under Primary Printer make sure USB is selected and Star is selected then save it by checking the green check mark.

You are now ready to start enjoying retail made simple!
