A bit about Samsung's product line

This is a quick breakdown of the Samsung product line

Their top of the line model:

Going back in time - started with the Tab 3

followed by Tab4

Then TabS

now TabS2

These models are all supports and have the most power/capacity - our recommended line to purchase (but also more expensive).

Note: The TabS also has a 8.4" screen that works well with the tablet application

Now Samsung has the TabA line - their budget models (NOT RECOMMENDED)

the 9.7" screen is fine - no problem with that and it has enough power/capacity to run the application. The screens are not optimized so that the layout is not as easy to manuever (some of the buttons are not as easily available on the screen). Just remember to set your expectations so you know that with a strong tablet, performance will improve. 

The good think about the "A" is that the Heckler stand is designed for the "A" and the Powa hardware also supports "A" - so they get a good looking system set up.
