A few steps you can do to clear out any excess information on the system-

  1. Run a disc clean up
    Disc Cleanup is found under the start menu, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disc Cleanup. Select the drive you want to clean up (usually c:), and which options you would like to delete.(temp folders)
  2. Close any unused programs found in the notification bar. *These do not include any drives for the touch screen or operations the POS is using.*
  3. If the web browser is being used, you can clean out the stored cache.
