Remote Printing

To enable remote printing there is 2 ways you can do it while creating a new store or modifying an existing store.

If creating a new Store

You go into Management - Hierarchy - Store. Then you enter the IP under Store Printer IP and check the Remote Printer Support.

If Modifying a existing Store.

You go into Management - Hierarchy - Modify Hierarchy. From the drop down select Store and check the box for Remote Printer Support.

Then you add your IP address for the Ethernet Printer under Store Printer IP.

Steps to get IP from Printer.

Connect your Printer to your internet network.

Then your tablet should be connected to the same network as your printer.

The easiest way to get the IP for the Ethernet Printer is to download "Star Micronics Printer Demo" from the google playstore.

Once downloaded Select Star Portable Printers, then you click the search button. After it finishes searching it should give you a message with the IP address of the Printer.

After you have IP you enter it on CAS under Store Printer IP.

Now you should be able to get receipts remotely to that printer.
