Milo Integration

A major feature has been released in 3.6, this allows a merchant to enable local marketing which will start making their inventory, prices and quantity levels as well as store address and times appear in local searches. This will be a tremendous way for merchant to draw customers in their area who are doing web searches for product that they may carry. With this we can also submit image urls that will appear in the search results

Merchants can compete with internet based stores by offering a way to inform customers of their current stock and location. They can post pictures of the inventory and descriptions. Merchants can offer the "now" factor, for customers to be able to view inventory and come in to the location in their area.

Effective Date for Price Lists

The effective date found for a price list, is  is the date that the price list will be active from. Price lists that have a future date will be modifiable until the effective date. From the effective date  the most current price list will be active,  and won't be found for modification. Price lists can be used for updating a product price form a certain date forward. The price list drop down no longer includes expired price lists.

A merchant with merchandise that will be set a different price for part of the year, can create a price list to be effective the June 6, 2012, that list will be modifiable until it's effective date. From that date forward the new prices will be in effect and won't be able to modify that list. They can however, create a new list, or a Price Book if  if they wish to be able to set the prices to be active and inactive.

Purchase Order with Multiple UPCs

In prior versions,  each item on a PO had to contain a unique UPC, however there may be reasons for a merchant to have multiple UPCs on a PO, perhaps there is an item that has a case price and a dozen price or perhaps multiple item numbers share a same UPC (less likely). This update allows for purchase orders to have a UPC and an item listed multiple times on the PO, the data will not be consolidated in any manner. So a merchant will not receive a duplicate item error, if the same UPC is entered.
