Overview - A bin is a further separation of inventory within a warehouse or store. User provides the description (name) of the bin. He then chooses whether the location of the bin is at a store or warehouse. Selecting stores allows user to select the specific store from a list of names in the drop-down box, and selecting warehouse provides a selection of warehouse names. Once the new bin has been assigned to the warehouse or store inventory can be assigned to the bin. If user want to modify his created bin location he must go to the modify inventory tab and select his bin location.

Access - Access to this function at an enterprise level is limited by default to the System Administrator and Financial users only. Accounting, store managers, warehouse general managers as well as zone managers and human resource managers may modify bin location settings at Venues or Store assigned to them.
