Problem

Java popup keeps coming up and telling you there are updates for Java.

Solution

You don't want to update Java because its java version that works with POS.User wants to disable the java update notification pop up. User wants to stay on current version (the version that supports their POS application)

Solution

Disable the java notification pop up: 

Panel

These are the steps Steps to Turn off that Popup(Disable) the java update popup.
  1. Go to Start - Control Panel
  2. Select Programs
  3. Select Java - Java Popup comes up
  4. Select Update Tab on popup
  5. Uncheck box "Check for Updates Automatically"
  6. Java Warning Box will come up
  7. Select "Do not Check" and Apply

Now you should not get that popup anymoreThe pop up should no longer appear
