Hierarchy - Register - Setup

Overview - 

The setup file needed by the POS after it is installed is created in this form.

The user selects the venue, store and register from the drop downs. The user then clicks create setup, which may take some time. This creates and saves the setup file. Once completed, the screen will display the path that the file is saved under (which includes the Register ID). This zip file can be loaded onto a particular register. This is useful in the instance of loss of internet connectivity as the register file can be taken from the data zip file from CAS and sent to the POS to update the data.

Details

Access - Access to this function at an enterprise level is limited by default to the System Administrator and Financial users only. Store managers and zone managers may modify settings at Venues or Store assigned to them.
