Overview:
If a merchant will be going Direct to Processor and not using a Gateway, the system will need the gateway set to "PAX". This will prevent the system from trying to connect to a processor for credit card processing for authorization/approval. Under hardware settings
WinPOS: on the device, register, Configuarions>Gateway Settings Select Pax as the gateway and enter the IP address.When adding new
gateways or modifying existingTabPOS: on the tablet, Hardware Settings, select PAX from the gateway options in the drop down.and enter the IP address
